What do we do?

  • The current disease prevention (POSI) procedure has been updated within the context of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and its implementation has been initiated immediately.
  • Informative and preventive methods have been conveyed to our hotel staff by our workplace doctor.
  • Frequency of cleaning and disinfection of general areas in our facility has been increased.
  • All areas and surfaces that our guests contact are frequently disinfected.
  • Our current Food Safety practices in the food storage, preparation and presentation areas continue.

  • Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health being in the first place, all relevant national and international authorities are followed continuously and our staff is kept informed.
  • The number of hand disinfectant stations in our facility has been increased.

    COVID-19 Information Guide

    Welcome to the Grand Abant Hotel.

    The World Health Organization declared a pandemic due to Corona (COVID-19) on March 11, 2020. From this date on, measures taken worldwide have been increased.

    In our hotel, every regulation and measure of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health, Culture and Tourism Ministry and the World Health Organization (WHO) are followed and applied.

    As Grand Abant Hotel, we have been fulfilling all the requirements related to your health completely in international standards since the day we were founded. You can reach the hygiene practices that we apply in our facility due to COVID-19 at www.buyukabantoteli.com.tr.

    During your stay at our hotel, we ask you to act in line with the information specified in this guide to secure the health of yourself and other guests staying in our hotel as well as our employees.



  • Your room has been cleaned with disinfectant products, after this process, your room has been delivered to you as the "first-time-user".
  • The products such as soap, shampoo, shower gel in your room are single-use and not used by anyone other than you.
  • Daily cleaning of your room is done by our staff using a mask and disposable gloves.
  • If you do not want our employees to enter your room for daily room cleaning or mini bar, please inform the reception that you do not want this service.

  • All areas are cleaned in appropriate frequency according to the type of the surface, using appropriate disinfection materials.
  • All common areas such as restaurants, meeting hall, lobby, reception area, bars, and sales units are arranged per the social distance plan; necessary measures have been taken regarding the social distance and necessary markings have been made. No more guests will be allowed to these areas than the plan is suitable for.
  • There is a sufficient number of hand disinfectant or antiseptic in all common areas.
  • To ensure safe usage of equipment in our fitness room, the reservation system is implemented and the number and duration of the people to use at the same time are arranged per the social distance plan. After each use in these areas, cleaning of usage areas and equipment with hygiene materials per the standards is performed by us.
  • Pool towels in closed bags are provided by our personnel.
  • In our units where food and beverage services are provided, the distance between the tables is arranged at 1.5 meters.

  • All our employees have received special training on epidemic and hygiene.
  • Our personnel use protective materials such as mask gloves or face visors depending on the place and service when they serve you.
  • As in common areas, hygiene standards and practices are carried out in the same way in all our personnel areas.
  • In our facility, hygiene barrier sterilization devices, hand and body hygiene tools and equipment are also being used in food preparation and kitchen areas.
  • Cleaning and hygiene of kitchen related areas, all kinds of equipment used in the kitchen and counter and storage areas are provided regularly.

  • You can use the elevators with people you stay in the same room. If there is another guest in the elevator who is not staying with you, please wait for the next elevator. Instead of using an elevator for the low-level floors, you can also use the stairs.
  • When moving inside the facility, pay attention to maintain social distance. Comply with the signs posted by the hotel management.
  • Please do not violate the 1.5-meter distance left between the tables.
  • Do not change the distance between indoor pool sunbeds.
  • If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 in yourself or one of our other guests you know, inform the reception immediately, the reception will contact you with our Environmental and Social Service Representative and healthcare organizations.
  • You can obtain protective materials such as disinfectants, masks and gloves from reception, housekeeping and room service free of charge at any time of the day, so that you can use them as required under COVID-19 measures.
  • Besides speaking and touching, the COVID-19 virus can infect you through nose, mouth or eye contact, and hang in the air e and live on the contacted surface for a certain time. Therefore, you should wash your hands frequently with plenty of soap and water. If you are far from the sinks, hand sanitizer devices have been placed at our locations where our service units are located.
  • We would like to remind you that different activities such as running, sports, cycling and swimming require different social distance and different measures even if precautions such as disinfectant and mask use are taken.
  • You must take all precautions when you are in service units and other business units (such as spa, hairdresser, market, etc.) in the hotel, and during the activities you will attend outside the hotel (such as transportation, food, sightseeing, tour, photoshoot, jogging, trekking, etc.), and inform the hotel about participating in these events beforehand. After these events, if you see any signs or symptoms related to COVID-19 and other epidemics, you should report this to the hotel management immediately. In such a case, the reception will contact you with our Environmental and Social Service Representative and healthcare organizations.

  • We would like to remind you once again that you may face legal obligations if you hide any finding, information or symptoms including COVID-19 and don't notify the hotel management.
